Inaugural Ethics Debate 2005
The Inaugural Ethics Debate was held September 22, 2005 at the University of Calgary, Rosza Centre. The topic of the debate was: "Which approach is more likely to result in ethical management of business:
- business leaders setting an ethical tone at the top and walking the talk, or
- extensive external regulations, independant monitoring and tough penalties?
There was a positive response from various communities in Calgary, which helped us put together an impressive list of speakers to debate the issue. The following was the line up of speakers:
